Philips Monitors Marvel Studios Spider-Man Far From Home Promo Details

Last July 3, 2019, leading display brand Philips Monitors and Sony Pictures Entertainment gave select tech bloggers and members of the media the chance to be some of the first in the Philippines to watch the much awaited Spider-Man Far From Home film through a special screening of the movie held at The Podium, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.

It was a landmark event as it was the first time that the two giant tech companies worked together as partners on a particular project.

Our friendly Spider-Man returns after a blockbuster release in 2017, picking off right after Avengers: Endgame where Peter Parker got major inspiration from other Marvel heroes, specifically Iron Man.

Despite its light-hearted tone that's great for young viewers, the film still packs quite a punch with exciting action scenes and incredible special effects. A cool movie to be experienced in the cinema, Spider-Man: Far From Home is also great to watch on weekend stay-ins with family, friends, and loved ones.

Matching the theme of the event, a Spider-Man cosplayer greeted bloggers and members of the medi as they arrive at the Director’s Club. They were able to enjoy the film after a hearty dinner and some web-slinging of their own in front of the camera.

Spider-Man by Insomniac Games, the hit PS4 title, was playable just outside the cinema. They showcased their in-store promo materials as well as their recently concluded Spider-Man cosplay contest in which the winner took home a Philips monitor.

Sir Jack and Mimi also showed us photos and videos of their billboards and large-format display ads to let Filipino consumers know that Philips and Sony are in it together as major partners in screening and promoting Spider-Man Far from Home.
