League of Legends Wild Rift 5v5 MOBA Game Pre-Registration Goes Live!

Last October 15, 2019, Riot Games Inc. officially announced that they will be releasing a mobile version of their highly popular League of Legends (LoL) multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game called 'Wild Rift' in 2020.

Featuring the familiar gameplay and stellar Champion set of the desktop version, League of Legends: Wild Rift features redesigned graphics made specifically for smartphones.

Interestingly enough, Riot Games' decision to release a mobile version of LoL comes hot on the heels of Mobile Legends Bang Bang's massive success in emerging smartphone markets, including the Philippines. I guess this is a case of the OG trying to show new consumers and all competitors how games like this should actually be done. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Anyway, for long-time LoL fans or mobile gamers in general who want to be the first to be notified when League of Legends Wild Rift becomes available for download and installation on their devices, pre-registration for the upcoming title is now live!

To sign-up, simply search for League of Legends Wild Rift on the Apple App Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for Android smartphones.

The results will show Mobile Legends Bang Bang and Mobile Legends Adventure ads but click on the right one by Riot Games, Inc.

As of writing, the PC version of League of Legends features 145 Champions and according to Riot Games, Wild Rift will launch will less than 40 of these heroes.

Also, for LoL fans who may be wondering if the Champions and Skins that they've purchased for the PC version will be carried over to the mobile, well, that won't be possible.

Riot Games Associate Art Director Mr. Alex Lehmann said, "Your inventory will not transfer between games. We don't have content parity and we have to make a universal solution that's fair to all players."
