Best Android Smartphones In Terms of Performance as of November 2019, Listed Down by AnTutu
Great news for mobile consumers whose primary consideration in choosing a smartphone is raw power! I have this treat for you!
AnTuTu has recently released its list of the best performing or most powerful Android smartphones based on average Antutu Benchmark Test scores that these handset models got ending last month, November 2019.
In the flagship category, it is notable that 9 out of 10 top smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855+ processor, which pretty much confirms that these chipsets currently dominate the industry when it comes to overall performance.
Topping the list with a score of 496,662 is Asus ROG Phone 2, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus and comes with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This gaming beast is now available in the Philippines for PHP 49,995.
OnePlus 7T 8GB + 256GB and OnePlus 7T Pro 8GB + 256GB are at numbers 2 and 3 with scores of 482,881 and 482,532, respectively. It's interesting that the regular version got an ever slightly higher mark than the Pro model -- and I guess it's because the latter has larger and higher resolution QuadHD display, which is more taxing on resources. The price of OnePlus 7T in the Philippines starts at PHP 32,990 while OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition dons a price tag of PHP 46,990.
Hotshot smartphone brand Realme was able to secure the number 4 spot with its Realme X2 Pro flagship release via score of 476,185. This gorgeous smartphone with 64MP Quad Rear Camera module has yet to be released in the Philippines.
At number 5 and 6 are OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7, respectively, with scores of 465,246 and 455,587. These handsets, which also have top-notch imaging capabilities, are still available in the Philippines through Digital Walker with prices starting at PHP 26,990 for OnePlus 7 8GB + 256GB and PHP 38,990 for OnePlus 7 Pro 6GB + 128GB version.
At the 7th spot, with a score 452,783, we'll find the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition that features a whopping 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage! Sadly, Xiaomi Philippines has yet to confirm if they are keen on bringing this ultra-premium release here. Currently, their top of the line model in this country is the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 6GB+128GB - also running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 - that's now available at PHP 25,990.
The Asus ZenFone 6 2019 is at number 8 with an AnTutu Benchmark Score of 452,776. Although this powerful flagship release with a unique Dual Rotating Camera made a bit of buzz earlier this year, it seems that Asus is more keen on promoting and marketing their ROG Phone line moving forward.
Finally, at the 9th and 10th spot, we have the Qualcomm Snadragon 855 powered Samsung Galaxy Note10+ and the SGNote10+ variant with Exynos 9825 processor. These handsets got a score of 449,659 and 443,853, respectively. Samsung Galaxy Note10 Philippines price is PHP 60,990 for the 256GB version and PHP 72,990 for the model with 512GB of internal storage.
Please note that this list merely includes the top smartphones when it comes to power in smoothness of performance, including gaming and multitasking, as well as overall responsiveness. Needless to say, there are many other aspects and features that consumers must consider in purchasing a new smartphones, including design, build, imaging performance, video recording capabilities, battery life, screen size and resolution, and even quality of after-sales support, among others.
