Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite with 3.5mm Audio Jack Could Be Arriving Soon
I've been testing the 2019 flagship phablet Samsung Galaxy Note10 for a couple of months now and I love everything about it except for two things: First, I wish that the front-facing camera had a wider field of view for vlogging and second, I still can't get over the fact that it no longer has a 3.5mm audio jack which is one of the features I love on my Samsung Galaxy Note8 since it also allows me to use lavalier microphone for my Youtube tech interview videos.
I've tried using clip-on lenses and audio adapters to address those limitations but nothing compares to the convenience of getting them built-in on the device.
I guess that's why I was delighted when I read in a few tech websites yesterday that Samsung is just about ready to release an all-new version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 - this time - with a built-in audio jack!
According to various sources, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will come with many of the bells and whistles that consumers have come to expect from the Note Series, including a large display and the renowned S-Pen Stylus, but it will don a slightly more budget-friendly price compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+.
Some of the purported features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite include a 6.7-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a Punch Hole housing a 32 MegaPixel f/2.0 front-facing camera, a large 4,500 mAh Li-Ion battery pack, and a Triple Rear Camera Module consisting of a 12 MegaPixel f/1.7 main camera, 12 MegaPixel Ultra-Wide-Angle secondary shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and a 12 MP f/2.4 Telephoto tertiary cam enabling 2x lossless zoom. I'm personally hoping that this Triple Back Camera module would be just as powerful as what's on the Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ because that will make the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite a more powerful video recording device with its 3.5mm combo jack for wired microphones. In my eyes, this combo would make it a more compelling and attractive offer compared to its pricier siblings.
In terms of the internal hardware, as its name suggests, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will supposedly have less powerful specs compared to the Note10 and Note10+. It is said that the new model will be powered by an Exynos 9810 processor - the same one that's inside the Samsung Galaxy Note9 from 2018 - and it will only have 6GB of RAM as well as 128GB of expandable storage.
Now, as for the release date and price, various tech websites are claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will mostly likely land in Europe come the second week of January 2020 with an SRP of around 609 Euros (or around PHP 35,000 with current conversion). No word yet on this model's imminent release in other markets such as Asia Pacific region, which includes the Philippines. Stay tuned for updates.
