Realme 5i Philippines Price is PHP 6,990 : Realme's Quad Camera Battery King, Officially Launched
Many of you have been messaging me since I posted my unboxing and actual unit photos of Realme 5i a few days ago. Some of you asked how much this new smartphone model is and some were eager to know if Realme will have any launch promos for the device.
Well, today, I finally have answers to your questions.
Yesterday - January 29, 2020, I graced Realme Philippines' invite for the official launch of the Realme 5i handset at Vatos Urban Tacos restaurant in BGC, Taguig City.
At the event, our partners from the company formally announced the suggested retail price of the device as well as their exclusive offers, which will be coursed through their online partner store, Shopee.
The official SRP of Realme 5i in the Philippines is PHP 6,990 for the model with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Realme Shopee Vouchers are available for a limited time starting on January 30, 2020. Realme fans simply need to use the code REALME12OFF to get 12 percent discount. Note, however, that this promo is valid only at the Official Realme Shopee store and it only applies to orders that will be delivered by Shopee’s integrated couriers.

As shown in the first image, Realme 5i is available in two elegant and eye-catching colors, Aqua Blue and Forest Green. Both come with an interesting design identity, which Realme calls "Sunrise Aesthetic", highlighted by micro-lines in concentric patterns on polycarbonate back panel. This unique finish gives off a "ray of sun" effect when light hits it from some angles.
Realme says that Realme 5i's back cover is processed by a German five-axis precision radium carving machine to create a unique visual experience after a 600-minute polish.
In front, Realme 5i sports a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with Mini-Drop notch that houses an 8 MegaPixel f/2.0 camera for taking selfies that are instantly beautified for sharing on Facebook or Instagram.
Tagged as the "Quad Camera Battery King" by Realme fans, Realme 5i features four cameras at the back, giving consumers great flexibility when snapping daily images. This set-up is made up of a 12 MegaPixel f/1.8 primary shooter that's the best of the bunch when it comes to dynamic range and low-light performance, a secondary 8 MegaPixel f/2.25 ultra-wide angle snapper for taking photos of architecture, landscape, and groups of people, a tertiary 2 MP macro cam for capturing image of very small objects and details, and finally, a 2MP depth sensor enabling Portrait Mode.
Realme 5i is powered by a huge 5,000 mAh battery that - according to Realme - is capable of delivering up to a whopping 30 days of standby time. This large pack also provides extended uptime for power users and heavy gamers.
Under the hood, this version of Realme 5i is powered by an 11nm Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor that's both powerful and energy-efficient. The device also has 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can easily be expanded using the dedicated microSD card slot.
