realme 7 Pro Philippines Price is PHP 17,990, Specs, Unboxing, Actual Unit Photos, Key Features

Here's something for all Pinoy realme fans who have been messaging me non-stop since I uploaded my "realme 7 Pro Unboxing by Minions" video on Facebook and Youtube last week.

The official price of realme 7 Pro in the Philippines is PHP 17,990, which makes it just PHP 1,000 more expensive than the model it superseded, the best-selling realme 6 Pro.

If you ask me, I think that's a good price for this smartphone given all of its key features and main selling points which I will talk about in a bit.

Although, for me, if you currently own a realme 6 Pro, there's little reason to upgrade to this model in terms of technical specifications, especially internal hardware. Unless, of course, you are a hardcore fan who wants to always have the latest release and you have so much money to burn on something new.

Let me show everything you will get for PHP 17,990.

realme 7 Pro comes in this yellow box, which is already familiar to all of us by now. The name of the model is printed on the cover and on the sides.

At the bottom, there's a list of the phone's four key features, namely, the 65W SuperDart Charge support, the Snapdragon 720G processor, Sony 64MP Quad Rear Camera module, and the 6.4-inch SuperAMOLED Display.

A warm note that reads "Hey, welcome to realme Family" greets you as soon as you lift the cover.

The complete retail package includes the realme 7 pro unit itself, the Quick Guide, the Important Information Guide, the metal pin for ejecting the SIM card tray, the SuperDART fast charger, and a free soft gel case so you won't have to buy one separately.

You need the provided travel charger to take advantage of the phone's SuperDART 65W Fast Charging feature that delivers 50% charge in just 12 minutes or 100% charge in only 34 minutes. Now, that's really fast!

Alright! Now, let's take a closer look at realme 7 Pro.

For me, one of the true highlights of this model, is its 6.4-inch FullHD+ SuperAMOLED which is a treat at this price point. Sure it doesn't have 90Hz refresh rate but I think the brilliance and energy-efficiency of this display type more than makes up for it.

This screen, which is great for watching videos, playing games, or reading blogs, also made it possible for realme 7 Pro to be slightly thinner and far lighter than the realme 6 Pro which has a backlit IPS display.

The gorgeous face of the phone is complemented by the sexy back that features rounded sides and corners as well as a sleek rear panel with frosted finish and metallic sheen.

The slim form factor as well as all the above-mentioned opulent design elements make realme 7 Pro a truly elegant handset that exudes an air of corporate sophistication that young professionals will definitely appreciate.

Like the realme 6 Pro, the realme 7 Pro is also a powerful imaging tool for aspiring mobile photographers.

The four camera set-up at the back is made up of a 64MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and Sony sensor that's the most powerful of the bunch for everyday point-and-shoot photography in various lighting conditions, an 8 MegaPixel ultra-wide camera that's good landscape and architectural photograpy as well as for group shots, a 2 MegaPixel macro cam for taking shots of very small objects, and a 2 MegaPixel Depth Sensor which enables Portrait Mode for adding background blur to photos of people, food, and other subjects.

Both are powered by realme's gyro-powered electronic stabilization which compensates for hand-movement when recording clips while walking or running.

As I've noted, realme 7 Pro supports 65W SuperDART Fast Charging which I find very useful in a real-world setting.

There's the powerful and energy-efficient 8nm Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor with Adreno 618 GPU, 8GB of RAM for smooth multi-tasking, and 128GB of internal storage that can easily be augmented using the dedicated microSD card slot. No need to sacrifice's the phone's Dual SIM capability to get more space for large files.

Given the SRP of this model, I think this is a pretty powerful set of innards that should ensure ultra-smooth daily mobile experience even for power users.

Finally, for security and privacy, realme 7 Pro has Facial Recognition, the usual pattern and passcode unlock features, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is another treat on this handset.

The on-screen finger sensor lets you quickly unlock the interface without having having to flip the device over when it's on the table or while you are holding it. I also find this scanner quite fast and accurate, which is relieving.
