Korean Boy Band BTS Now Endorses Smart Communications

On Monday - January 18, 2021, the Philippines' leading mobile services provider Smart Communications Inc. announced on various social media platforms that ultra-popular Korean Boyband BTS is now officially part of their family as their latest international celebrity endorsers!

Hot on the heels of their Grammy-award-winning Billboard-smash-hit "Dynamite", all members of BTS appeared on a 35-second video for Smart wherein they shared why they have chosen to endorse the company.

To quote the group:

"Hello Philippines! We are BTS! [...] Glad to be here! We're here to support Smart's goal of inspiring people to live their lives with passion and purpose no matter the challenges that lie ahead. And with that, we are proud to announce: Simple. Smart ako."

BTS is just the newest of the slew of South Korean celebrities that Smart Communications recently signed to promote their products and services. Earlier in 2020, 'Crash Landing On You' co-stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin became Smart Endorsers and in October 2020, Park Seo-Joon became the face of Smart GIGA K-Video Promos With Viu.

Although they are collectively admired by their millions of fans across the world for their uplifting and high-energy songs, each member of BTS actually has his own inspiring story to share about surmounting struggles and rising above the challenges of life. This fact has only made fans fall in love with every BTS member even more.

It will be interesting to see how Smart Communications can tap BTS to provide hope and inspiration to all young Filipinos amidst the trying times that we are all currently facing.
