Nokia C1 Plus Philippines Price is PHP 3,590, Here Are Its Specs and Features

I know many of my readers are long-time loyal fans of the Finnish Giant, Nokia. If you're one of them, this post is for you.

Priced at PHP 3,590, the all-new Nokia C1 Plus is one of HMD Global's slew of entry-level Android handsets that target those who are still using a feature-phone and are just thinking about finally leveling up to a full-fledged smartphone with at least 4G LTE connectivity support.

Personally, I think it will also be great for fans of Nokia who already own a more powerful smartphone but are currently looking for a secondary handset as back-up for calls, social media updating, and sending messages.

Frankly, Nokia C1 Plus' technical specifications - including the 5.45-inch 480 x 960 pixels IPS display, 5 MegaPixel rear camera with flash, 1.4GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage - are very modest compared to many competing Android smartphones in its price bracket.

Nonetheless, Nokia C1 Plus has a few charms that might delight consumers who would grab a unit.

For me, one of the highlights of this model is that it is part of Google's Android One project which means that it is guaranteed to receive software upgrades and security updates for at least two years so you do get peace of mind in that department. HMD Global - the new home of Nokia phones - works closely with Google and ensures that their handsets will get the latest software features for their Android version they are running.

Another good thing about Nokia C1 Plus is that it has a very large 2,500 mAh Li-Ion battery pack that ensures a whole day of uptime of regular use and even up to two days if you're not really a power user. If you hate carrying a powerbank everywhere you go, you will certainly appreciate this feature. What's even better is that the battery pack is removable so you can replace it yourself if it gets damaged or if the charge it holds becomes smaller or minimized over time.

Oh, and lest I forget, the 5 MegaPixel front-cam has a selfie flash! So if you love snapping self-portraits in settings with less than ideal lighting, the soft flash should be very useful. I'm sure your friends and loved ones will love it too when you take your groufies with them while wearing protective gear, of course.
