Samsung Galaxy F62 Price in India is INR 23,999, Has 7,000 mAh Battery and Note10 Exynos 9825 Flagship Processor!
In 2020, we saw the release of feature-packed midrange Android smartphones
with a whopping 5,000 to 6,000 mAh Li-Po battery packs.
This year, 2021, it seems we'll get new handsets with even higher capacity
batteries that can ensure multiple days of uptime even with heavy use.
Earlier this month, February 2021, Korean Giant Samsung Mobile officially
announced a new mid-level Android smartphone in India with an incredible 7,000
mAh Li-Po battery pack, which is easily larger than that of almost all its
competitors.
The all-new Samsung Galaxy F62 - with the above-mentioned feature -
dons an official launch promo price of only INR 23,999 or around PHP
16,000 with current conversion. Upon release this week, it will be exclusive
to India's leading online-shopping website Flipkart.
Samsung Galaxy F62 is available in three eye-catching colors, namely, Laser
Blue, Laser Gray, and Laser Green, all with micro-line and high-gloss
finish.
Apart from its humongous battery that supports 25W Fast Charging, Samsung
Galaxy F62 also has other key selling points that will surely attract the
attention of consumers away from the brand's erstwhile rivals in the midrange
echelon.
For me, the true highlight of this model would have to be its
flagship-level 7nm Exynos 9825 processor which powered the 2019
top-of-the-line release Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note10 Plus, as well
as their 5G versions. Hence, the Galaxy F62 lets consumers experience
flagship-level performance - including stellar gaming capabilities - on a handset with a mid-level price tag, making
it a real treat.
Samsung Galaxy F62 will be available in two versions. The one with 6GB of RAM
is the base model with promo price I mentioned above while the 8GB RAM variant
will go for INR 25,999 or roughly PHP 17,500. Both models come with 128GB of
internal storage that's easily expandable using the smartphone's dedicated
microSD card slot.
In front, Samsung Galaxy F62 sports a massive 6.7-inch FullHD+ 2400 x 1080
pixels SuperAMOLED display with a punch-hole notch similar to what we see on
the Samsung Galaxy A71. This crisp and brilliant screen ensures an
enjoyable viewing experience whether you are playing games, watching videos,
or just browsing photos on social media.
For imaging, the device features a Quad Rear Camera module that's made up of a
64 MegaPixel f/1.8 main camera that's the best in everyday point and shoot
photography and in low-light performance, an 8 MegaPixel ultra-wide-angle
camera for landscape and architectural photography, a 5 MegaPixel macro camera
for close-up images of flowers and insects among other subjects, and a 5
MegaPixel depth sensor enabling Portrait Mode that lets you add background
blur to highlight the subject.
For those who love to take selfies, there's a high-resolution 32 MegaPixel
front-facing camera that's powered by Samsung's own beautification software
that gives you self-portraits that are instantly ready for sharing on social
media.
Now, if you're a vlogger, TikToker, or a Youtube content creator, you will
appreciate the Galaxy F62's 4K 30fps front and back video recorders that can
help you future-proof your videos in high-resolution. If you prefer editing
smaller files, though, you can always shoot in FullHD 30 or 60 frames per
second.
Now that's a pretty solid set of specs for a midrange smartphone
right?
For me, the Galaxy F62 is proof that Samsung is still serious in competing
in the midrange category. Needless to say, currently, realme and Xiaomi are
slaying in this bracket so Samsung has a bit of catching up to do. It's nice
to see the Korean Giant finally trying to give them a good fight. Tough
competition among top brands always benefits consumers so I love seeing
this.
