Asus ZenFone 8 Series Will Be Officially Announced on May 12, 2021
First of all, I want to disclose that I'm not sure if this new line of
handsets will be officially released here in the Philippines since Asus has
been focusing on the launch of ROG Phones in our country instead of ZenFone
models.
Nonetheless, I know that TechPinas has been around for so long and as a
community, we witnessed the success of earlier ZenFone releases in this
territory. Hence, I thought of sharing this news with all of you because I'm
aware that many TP readers are also big fans of this brand.

Based on event invites that Asus has sent to various tech media across the
world, the company will be launching the ZenFone 8 Series on May 12,
2021. There will be three key unveiling events on that day that will be held
in New York, Berlin, and Beijing.
As of today - April 25, 2021, we know very little about the handsets that
will be announced. Although, many sources are claiming that there will be
four models under this new line, namely, the Asus ZenFone 8,
Asus ZenFone 8 Mini, Asus ZenFone 8 Pro, and
Asus ZenFone 8 Max.
The slogan of Asus for the ZenFone 8 Series is "Big on Performance, Compact in Size", which I believe pertains to the handset's powerful internal hardware and
stellar imaging capabilities, among other things.
Some rumored features of ZenFone 8 models include the flagship-level Qualcomm
Snapdragon 888 SoC, 30W Fast Charging, and a whopping 16GB of RAM for
industry-leading multitasking experience
Looking at leaked photos of the ZenFone 8 Mini, though, I'm particularly
excited about the Swiveling Triple Camera Module, which I think
include a powerful main camera with wide aperture and ultra-high resolution,
an ultra-wide-angle camera that's great for landscape photography and also
vlogging, and a third telephoto camera enabling lossless zoom.
Asus has always crafted amazing cameraphones with solid photography and
videography performance so I know that the ZenFone 8 Series will deliver well
in this department.
So there you go! That's all I can tell you for now. Needless to say, I'm
rather excited with what I'm seeing and learning so far about the Asus
ZenFone 8. Heck, it makes me wish that Asus would consider bringing this
line here in the Philippines; It's a new world after all, so why not?
