Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Philippines Price, Review, Full Specs, Features, and Actual Unit Photos
If you're currently looking for a new tablet with support for a keyboard
case and a precision pen to be your new gadget companion in your
work-from-home arrangement or online learning in the new normal, then let me
show you this new product from our friends at Lenovo Philippines.
The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro dons an official SRP of PHP 36,990 and I
think that given everything it offers, it's well worth the price tag.
Before I talk about the eight things about this device that I found
particularly attractive after a week of playing with it, let me show you
everything that's inside the official retail package.
We have the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro unit itself, the USB Type C to USB adapter, the
Safety Warranty and Quick Start Guide, the USB Type C charging cable, the
travel charger, the metal pin for ejecting the SIM card tray, and a card
showing Lenovo Philippines' hotline numbers for after-sales support.
The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is priced at PHP 36,995 and comes with a free Lenovo Precision Pen 2 worth PHP 2,995 and a free Lenovo Keyboard Pack worth PHP 4,995 through Lenovo Philippines' Bundle Promo. This high-end tablet is now available at Lenovo’s official mall in Shopee and Lazada as well as in Lenovo Exclusive Stores and authorized resellers nationwide. Elegant Design and Robust Build
The first thing I love about the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro would have to be its slim
and lightweight form factor as well as its stylish yet durable shell.
It measures only 5.8 millimeters at its thickest point and weighs just 485
grams, making it a joy to carry in a small sling bag or to hold in the hand
when you're changing your work location inside the house.
Holding the tablet vertically, the power button, SIM card tray, and two speakers are located on the top panel. Horizontally, these are found on the
left side.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro's shell is crafted from diamond-cut aluminum with a
sand-blasted matte finish.
The tablet's USB Type C charging port and two other speakers are found at the rear when you hold the device vertically. These elements are on the right side when the tablet is horizontally oriented.
The tablet's copper connectors and magnets for the keyboard case are
located at the rear when you hold the device horizontally, as shown in the
image above.
I think the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro's real metal shell truly gives it an air of both sophistication and durability which we usually see on high-end gadgets.
This is definitely a tablet you won't be shy to flaunt in a cafe or even in a
corporate roundtable meeting when we hopefully return to the way we were.
Beautiful 2K Display
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro features a large 11.5-inches 2K OLED screen that truly
elevates the viewing experience whether you are using the tablet vertically or
horizontally.
The 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution delivers crisp and clear details, which you
will greatly appreciate when watching high-definition movies, documentaries,
or TV series on the gorgeous display.
On top of that, HDR10 and Dolby Vision ensure stunning colors as well as
balanced shadows and highlights ensuring a more enjoyable and entertaining
visual treat.
For students and young professionals who will be using the tablet for school
and work, the display also comes with TÃœV Rheinland Eye Comfort
Certification, which means that it can minimize the risk of eye damage with
extended use.
I also like that the tablet has very thin display bezels which made it possible for the device to have a smaller footprint despite having a sizable screen. Lenovo Tab P11 Pro has an amazing 84.6% Screen-to-Body Ratio,
which we can all appreciate by looking at the photo below.
The third thing that I love about this tablet would have to be its very
capable processor, decent amount of RAM, and large internal storage.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro runs its vanilla Android 10 operating system with an 8nm
2.2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm SDM730 Snapdragon 730G that's not only powerful but also very energy-efficient. This chipset also incorporates an Adreno 618
GPU, which is good enough to deliver a smooth gaming experience for those
who intend to play their favorite mobile games on the device.
I've personally tried playing Mobile Legends Bang Bang on my Lenovo Tab P11
Pro and I thought that the gameplay was stellar and stutter-free despite the
high frame rate setting.
Complementing the processor, there's 6GB of RAM for a decent multitasking experience when running multiple apps in the background as well as 128GB of internal storage that's large enough for installing and keeping resource-intensive games and applications on the device.
This set of internal hardware is comparable to what you will find on several 2021 upper midrange Android smartphones by top manufacturers.
Reliable Privacy and Security Features
Apart from having the usual pattern and passcode unlock, Lenovo Tab P11 Pro also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that's integrated with the power button along with facial recognition via the front-facing camera.
These two features add a veritable layer of protection for the user against those who have a vile plan to check and grab content without permission.
Support for Useful Accessories
As I've mentioned above, every Lenovo Tab P11 Pro purchase comes with a free Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and Lenovo Keyboard Pack, which together are worth PHP 7,990!
Having used them both, I believe these two amazing accessories truly enable greater creativity and productivity for anyone who owns the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro.
Not only does the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 look and feel like your regular pen but with its 4,096 levels of pressure and tilt detection, it certainly feels like one when you use it on Lenovo Tab P11 Pro's glass touchscreen.
I particularly enjoyed using the Precision Pen 2 when jotting down notes and when doing my amateur fashion sketches via Paper application for Android as shown below.
I think that if you're a creative person who loves drawing, sketching, or making caricatures, you will also love using this stylus accessory from Lenovo.
Now, if you're a student or a young professional who always works on documents, worksheets, or Powerpoint presentations, then I think you will thoroughly enjoy using the Lenovo Keyboard Pack for the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro.
I find the size of this keyboard largely comparable to what I have on my regular laptop so there's little compromise in my typing experience. I also appreciate the large Shift and Enter keys as well as the tactile feedback and ample key travel, which altogether help minimize my errors when I'm typing fast on the board.
As for the trackpad, I think the size is just right given the overall footprint of the tablet with the keyboard pack attached to it. It's not so big that my palm would be touching it often.
The Keyboard Pack attaches magnetically to the tablet and has a luxurious Oxford textile exterior lining that's a joy to touch.
The other half of the Keyboard Pack attaches magnetically to the back of the tablet, serving as both a protective cover and a kickstand when you need to use the device like a laptop, as shown in the image below.
Stellar JBL Speakers
The sixth thing I love about the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro would have to be its four powerful JBL onboard speakers. Two are located on each side of the tablet in horizontal orientation.
This set of JBL Speakers delivers clear treble and big bass sound for a more immersive audio experience when watching movies, TV series, or even just vlogs on the device. I particularly love these speakers when I'm playing games on the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro; It just makes the overall gaming experience more fun and engaging.
I intend to give you a glimpse of the performance of these speakers in my separate review video for this tablet -- so watch out for that!
Good Set of Cameras for a Tablet
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro sports a total of four cameras around its svelte shell. At the back, the tablet has a Dual Rear Camera module made up of a 13 MegaPixel autofocus main camera and a 5 MegaPixel ultra-wide shooter. In front, it has an 8 MegaPixel selfie snapper and an Infrared 3D TOF Biometrics Sensor.
Here are sample photos that I took using some of these cameras.
I took this selfie using the 8 MegaPixel camera found on top of the display when you are using the tablet vertically.
These two images, on the other hand, were taken using the 13 MegaPixel main camera at the back.
As you can see, the main front and back cameras of the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro deliver clear and crisp images even when used indoors with just fluorescent lighting.
From my experience in using tablets for many years now, manufacturers don't tend to put good cameras on these devices unlike on smartphones. However, I find the cameras of Lenovo Tab P11 Pro more than decent and I really hope that Lenovo would continue with the good practice of putting very capable cameras on their future tablets since this can help expand usage of the device, giving users greater value for money.
As for video recording capability, the main front and back cameras of Lenovo Tab P11 Pro can shoot FullHD videos at 30 frames per second. I will show you sample recordings in my follow-up quick review video for this tablet but offhand, let me tell you that the image quality is very good.
Fairly Long Battery Life
Finally, the eighth thing I love about the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is its good uptime coming from a full charge.
This tablet is powered by a large 8,600 mAh Li-Po battery that delivers a whole day of uptime with regular use. This pack also supports 20W Fast Charging feature that helps cut the time spent plugging it to an electrical outlet and increases the amount of time that you use the tablet for your passions.
Personally, from 100% battery, I get around 8 to 10 hours of usage from the device before having to charge it again. I've used Lenovo Tab P11 Pro for a week and some of my usual activities on it included watching Youtube videos, browsing websites, typing Word documents, checking social media apps, and playing games from time to time.
Verdict
Needless to say, I'm quite smitten with the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro for all the reasons I mentioned above. So again, if you're looking for a reliable and powerful tablet to help you with school or work, all while allowing you to enjoy online content and mobile games without annoying lags or crashes, I highly recommend this model. I think you will thoroughly enjoy using it, especially with the two free accessories.
