I Bought An Affordable Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC Smartphone Case at Lazada and I Liked It

As many of you know, Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC - released in 2020 - remains to be one of my favorite daily drivers currently.

I recommend this smartphone because it looks great, has decent imaging capabilities, offers smooth gaming performance especially when running Mobile Legends Bang Bang, and has long uptime.

Heck, I like this smartphone so much that I even bought a new case for it via Lazada a few days ago.

At first, I wasn't sure if this Lenuo Punk-Casing for Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC, X3, and X3 Pro is any good since it sells for just PHP 185 -- but thankfully, it ended up being a great value for money purchase.

For the longest time, I had used the free soft gel that came with my Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC, which didn't really offer a high level of protection for the smartphone. The hole at the back exposed the rim of the camera module to scratches and dents as shown in the image above.

Had I known that the free soft gel case was no good, I would have bought this Lenuo hard case right off the bat since it offered full protection for the camera module.

 

Another thing I hated about the free soft gel case was the flap covering the USB Type C port of the handset, which was so annoying to open and close every time I would charge the device.

As you can see in the photo above, the Lenuo doesn't have such flap, making it far more convenient to use. Sure, you can argue that the flap offers some protection against splashes of liquid but I'm far too careful with my smartphones that it doesn't really matter to me if I don't get it.

Although Lenuo doesn't claim that their affordable Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC case is "shockproof", I think its hard polycarbonate exterior along with the rubber lining should protect the device in case you accidentally drop it on wood or carpet while you're sitting down. I should know because it has happened to me while I'm using my handset.

Another thing I like about this Lenuo case is that it has a kickstand at the back that comes in handy when I'm watching Youtube videos or movies or Netflix. No need for separate phone holder to enjoy content hands-free.

So there you have it. I just thought I'd blog about this new smartphone case that I bought. It's definitely one of the best sub-PHP200 accessories I got recently. I think you should get it too if you own the Xiaomi POCO X3 NFC, X3, or X3 Pro if you're still using the free soft gel case.
