iOS 17.3 Software Update, Now Available! Check Your iPhone!

Apple released iOS 17.3.1 last Thursday - February 8, 2024, just two weeks after iOS 17.3 came out.

While iOS 17.3 brought new features like Stolen Device Protection for iPhones, iOS 17.3.1 is mainly a small update that fixes a typing bug. To get the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update, tap Install Now, and follow the instructions on your screen.

According to Apple's description of the update, it addresses a problem where text might duplicate or overlap while typing. However, Apple didn't list any Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) for the update, so it's not clear if iOS 17.3.1 deals with any security issues.

Normally, Apple posts a list of CVEs when an update is available for download. But sometimes, like with iOS 17.2.1 and iOS 17.1.1, they don't provide CVEs alongside the updates.
