Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max to Feature Advanced Battery with Longer Life?
Apple fans, get ready for some exciting news about the upcoming iPhone 16
Pro Max!
"Renowned" analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that this model will boast
a new battery with significantly greater energy density, potentially leading
to a longer battery life if Apple maintains the current battery size.

Kuo's report suggests a major redesign for the iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery. In
addition to the increased energy density, the new battery will be encased in
stainless steel instead of aluminum. This change is noteworthy because
stainless steel, although less effective at dissipating heat, is much
stronger, providing better protection for the battery and the phone overall.
In his detailed post on Medium, Kuo explains that the stainless steel case not
only enhances durability but also makes battery removal easier. This design
adjustment will help Apple comply with new EU regulations that require more
accessible battery replacements.
Interestingly, Kuo mentions that this innovative battery design will be
exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro Max initially. However, Apple plans to roll it
out across the entire iPhone lineup with the iPhone 17 series in 2025.

battery energy density upgrade of the new iPhone 16 Pro Max"
This development aligns with a leak from November 2023, which indicated that
the iPhone 16 Pro might feature a J-shaped battery encased in what appeared to
be a "frosted metal shell." Additionally, a less credible rumor from February
2024 suggested a redesigned battery for the iPhone 16 Plus, although it
claimed the battery life would decrease in that model.
Apple enthusiasts can look forward to the enhanced durability and potential
for longer battery life with the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max, thanks to these
significant advancements in battery technology.
