This exciting collaboration kicked off with a buzzworthy press event, officially launching the partnership between 7-Eleven Philippines and The Pokémon Company on September 13, 2024, at 7-Eleven Centris 1 in Quezon City and Seda Hotel Vertis North.

At the facade of 7-Eleven Centris 1 Store, which is the first-ever Pokémon-themed 7-Eleven Store in the Philippines. The balloons and flowers were for the on-ground partnership launch held at the branch.

The event gathered key representatives from both companies, including Niantic’s Ms. Joyce Mak, 7-Eleven’s Ms. Valerie Gayle Uy, and The Pokémon Company’s Mr. Susumu Fukunaga. Together, they marked the beginning of what could be the most exciting team-up Pokémon fans in the Philippines have seen in years.
